Back in February during London Fashion Week, The Global Fashion Collective in partnership with Fashion Scout, gave centre stage for the next generation of designers who rocked the runway with their new latest collections. Ukrainian designer Olena Adam’s very simple yet strikingly evocative collection gave us not just vibrant but traditionally modernised prints that were enhanced by the sheerness and rich delicacy of the silks. It channelled an effortless fluidity and flexibility as the models graced the runway wearing those ornamental robes, decorative feathers, embellished headpieces and iridescent sequins. It was free, bold, frivolous but understated.
