LONDON FASHION WEEK SS26: Birmingham City University Graduate Presentation

20.9.25

It’s rare these days for less prominent fashion schools and universities to showcase on schedule — but this season proved an exception. For the first time ever, Birmingham City University was invited to London Fashion Week to present its graduate collection, and they did not disappoint.

At last, fashion-forward Brummies took the stage. What is usually a platform dominated by Central Saint Martins, LCF, and Westminster became, for a moment, the spotlight for BCU. For once, Birmingham stood at the forefront of creativity, taking centre stage in a way that feels long overdue. Could this be the moment for lesser-known fashion schools and universities to step forward — and finally claim their place?

Here are the list of emerging designers!

Emily Brookes. (Lovely girl!)

Megan Ginn (also another one that I kindly got to meet! A major champion in sustainable fashion. Also allowed me to street snap her, amazing scene of style, amazing hair…. clearly loves fashion and loves to dress up!)

These heels are high street….you wouldn’t believe…H&M…such a steal…especially as H&M were showcasing that same night!
